To apply for a downtown residential parking permit, print the application form or pick one up from the Treasury Department on the first floor of City Hall; effective 9/8/2020 you may also apply for downtown employee or residential permits online at

Application Requirements
- Applicants must present a driver's license
- Applicant must present proof of residency (by means of utility bills, lease or valid state driver's license)
- Applicant must present their vehicle registration
- An annual fee of $300, or $115 for four months, must be paid for each permit
A "Washington Street Lot Only" permit is now available for a reduced price of $150 for the year, or $60 per four months.
Visitor permits are not available for the downtown area. Contact the City Treasurer with questions at 734-483-1103.
