Medical Marijuana Licenses

No Licenses Available

In 2017, City Council approved an ordinance to cap the number of provisioning centers and grow facility licenses that could be issued. At this time there are no licenses available for either category.

Ordinance Changes

City Council approved changes to amend the text of the Zoning Ordinance in 2011 to define medical marijuana uses and determine appropriate locations and conditions for said uses.

Changes were made to the ordinance in three categories:
  • Cultivation, including Class A, Class B, and Class C.
  • Provisioning Center

Medical Marijuana Dispensary & Grow Facilities

The zoning ordinance requires that dispensaries and grow facilities be separated by 500 feet. Additionally, dispensaries and grow facilities must be 1,000 feet from schools.

Medical Marijuana Home Occupation

One state registered caregiver per parcel may be permitted to grow medical marijuana as a home occupation in a single family home. Please see the Medical Marijuana Home Occupation fact sheet for more information.
