Voter ID Cards "Return Service Requested"
Due to our precinct consolidation, a large batch of Voter ID cards were recently mailed to voters. The cards say “return service requested,” and voters have called confused, thinking they must return the card to us. Return service requested means that the post office will return it to the sender if it’s mailed to the wrong person. If you received a voter ID card for someone who doesn't live at your residence, just write RTS on it and place it in any mailbox. As long as the card has the correct name, the voter does not need to return it to us. It is for them to keep, and the card's purpose is to inform residents of their polling location, which did not change with the consolidation.
