Voting Precincts are open for voting from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. on election day.

The City is divided into 3 wards and subdivided into 7 precincts. If you have already registered to vote in the City of Ypsilanti you may determine your precinct and polling location by checking your Voter ID card or by visiting the Michigan Voter Information Center.

Starting with the Presidential Primary Election in February 2024, Ward 2 Precincts 1-3 are consolidating as well as Ward 3 Precincts 2-3. Anyone who was part of Ward 2 Precincts 2 or 3 is now part of Ward 2 Precinct 1, and anyone who was part of Ward 3 Precinct 3 is now part of Ward 3 Precinct 2. No polling locations have changed. The newly combined Ward 2 Precinct 1 still votes at Estabrook Elementary, the same location where Ward 2 Precincts 1-3 voted previously.  Similarly, the newly combined Ward 3 Precinct 2 still votes at Ypsilanti International Elementary School, the same location where Ward 3 Precincts 2-3 voted previously.
